Point Movement for Rural Development – Digitalisasi Desa (Pelatihan)
Point Movement – Rural Development is a program focused on empowering rural communities by providing digital skills training to help them leverage technology for productive purposes such as starting and growing businesses. The program offers digital training tailored to the needs of rural residents, teaching them how to use digital tools for entrepreneurship, business management, and other productive activities. Additionally, the program distributes laptops to villages around the Amartha Points, ensuring that participants have access to the necessary technology to implement what they’ve learned. This initiative aims to foster economic growth, innovation, and self-sufficiency in rural areas by bridging the digital gap and enabling residents to utilize digital resources effectively.

 

Green Movement & Eco-Impact Project (Tanam Penuh Dampak)

Amartha’s Tanam Penuh Dampak initiative is a vital part of its ESG commitment to environmental sustainability. In 2024, the program successfully planted 2,750 productive trees in coastal and rural areas across Kalimantan, Bali, Lombok, and Central Java.

These trees serve multiple purposes:

  1. Environmental Benefits: They help combat climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and improving air quality.
  2. Economic Impact: The trees are productive, offering long-term economic benefits for local communities by providing resources like fruits, nuts, and timber.
  3. Community Resilience: By focusing on coastal and rural areas, the initiative enhances resilience against erosion, floods, and other climate-related challenges.

Well Being – Activation (Amartha Juara)
Amartha Juara is a program designed to empower Amartha’s micro-business partners (borrowers) by helping their businesses grow and compete in larger markets. The program provides upskilling and business management training, equipping entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills needed to improve product quality, enhance operations, and scale their ventures.

Additionally, Amartha Juara serves as a platform to connect micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with broader markets, enabling them to reach more customers and expand their business opportunities. By fostering growth and competitiveness, this initiative helps entrepreneurs elevate their businesses and contribute to economic development.”

 

Well Being – Activation
In 2024, Amartha launched a meaningful initiative to improve the well-being of its borrowers through the Free Glasses Distribution Program.This program not only enhances the quality of life for borrowers by addressing vision-related challenges but also empowers them to perform daily activities and manage their businesses more effectively. The Free Glasses Distribution Program reflects Amartha’s commitment to supporting the health and productivity of its borrowers, contributing to sustainable community development and social empowerment.
